Debating

Our debating team have reached the final of the Credit Union debating competition. We beat Sacred Heart, Clonakilty in the semi final proposing the motion that 'Irish Should be Compulsory in Secondary Schools'.

The team is made up of Liadan Sage, Sam McMahon, Rachel White and Megan Bartual-Smyth. Well done on a great achievement!

Rugby 10 aside Tournament

The finals of the under 17 10 aside tournament were held in Rockwell recently. Having done extremely well in qualifying we ended up in the top group with Crescent, PBC, CBC & ArdScoil Rís.

A highly enjoyable day was had by all in the unusual 10 aside format.

The day was rounded off when the boys got to meet Munster and All Black legend Doug Howlett.

TY Sleepover

The Transition Year sleepover took place on Thursday 31st March. The majority of the year took part in this fun and enjoyable event and raised a substantial amount for charity. Thanks to Ms. Jones for organising the event and to all the teachers who dropped in during the night and helped out.
