End of Year Service


Our end of year Ecumenical service took place on Thursday May 27th. the main speaker was Canon Hewitt who was making his farewell appearance at Bandon Grammar.

A special presentation was made to mark the occasion. We would like to thank Canon Hewitt for his stimulating, though provoking assemblies as well as his general support for the school over the last few years.

 

 

 

 

Form VI Graduation

Our sixth years graduated from Bandon Grammar School on the same evening as the end of year service. Mr Sutton did the introduction and Mr. Crowley followed up with some memoirs of the last six years. Guest speaker was Clive Byrne, director of NAPD while Fionn O'Leary spoke on behalf of the students and Mr. O'Mahony spoke for the parents.

 

The ceremony was extremely positive and plenty of good advice was handed out. The graduating students then headed off for an evening of paintballing accompanied by some of the braver members of staff.
