6th Year Graduation / End of year service

This week saw our end of year Ecumenical Service which was organised by Mrs. Sarah Good with music by Mr. Buttimer and Mr .Crosbie. The ceremony was very enjoyable and provided a fitting end to another fantastic year in Bandon Grammar.

Immediately afterwards the sixth year graduation took place. Guest speaker this year was Mr. Alwyn Williams who addressed the students and encouraged them to do their absolute best. Mr. Crowley provided us with some touching and some funny memories of the last sixth years, Dr. Moloney spoke on behalf of the parents and Eoin Crowley spoke on behalf of the Class of 2011. Tom O'Toole also shared a poem that he had written specially for the occasion.

There was plenty of laughter and tears as the Class of 2011 received their fantastic year books (another fantastic production by Mr. White). The group then went paintballing accompanied by several teachers to cap off a fantastic day for the class of 2011.
