The most notable performance came from Colin Kingston who broke the U-16 boys Shot Putt record by more than 2 metres.
The South Munster Colleges event was also held in the past week. Outstanding performances earning gold medals came from the U-17 girls relay team, the girls and boys U-14 relay teams, Bella Sherlock in the U-15 girls 1500m, Lulu Keane in the U-16 girls mile and Emma Young in the U-15 triple jump.
Other notable performances came from Joey Henchy (2nd, U-14 boys 100m), Bobby Smith (2nd, U-15 boys javelin), Fintan O'Shaughnessy (2nd, U-15 boys high jump & 3rd U-15 boys long jump), Robert O'Sullivan (2nd, U-17 boys javelin), Mark O'Sullivan (2nd, Senior Boys steeplechase) and the U-15 boys came third in the relay.
