Rugby

A huge number of rugby matches took place this week.

Our senior recorded a fine victory this week beating Pres 14-3 in a tough game as they continue the build up to their Senior Cup game against Newtown at the beginning of December.

Our U-15 team lost away to Rockwell in an extremely tough game.

The first years took part in a blitz here in BGS involving two mixed BGS teams, Newtown and Midleton. Both teams beat Midleton but lost to Newtown. The highlight however was BGS v BGS in the final game which was extremely physical and ended up 7-0 with a last minute try scored by Travis Coomey.
