Autumn Term 2023

 

August 2023

- Thursday 24th & Friday 25th -  Staff Meetings

- Monday 28th - Form 1 Arrival

9.30 - 10.00am:   Form 1 Boarder Induction (stay overnight)

10.00 - 3.30pm: Form 1 Student Induction

 

- Tuesday 29th

9.00 - 4.00pm: Form 1 Classes begin

9.00am: Form 6 Boarders return 

10.00am: Form 6 Assembly followed by class tutor group & 11.00am: classes begin

11.00am: New student boarders arrive

2.00 - 4.00pm: New student induction 

 

All boarders may return from 6pm (after tea) to their boarding house

 

- Wednesday 30th August

Classes for all students.

 

September 2023

- Saturday 23rd - Open Day

- Thursday 28th & Friday 29th - School Closure Days

 

October 2023

- Friday 27th - Close for Half Term at 4.00 p.m.

 

November 2023

- Monday 6th - Re-open at 9.00 a.m.

Boarders may return on Sunday 5th from 6.30 p.m.

 

December 2023

- Friday 22nd - Close at 12.30 p.m.

 

Spring Term 2024

January 2024

- Monday 8th - Re-open at 9.00 a.m.

Boarders may return Sunday 7th from 6.30 p.m.

 

February 2024

- Monday 5th - Bank Holiday - School Closed

- Tuesday 6th - School Re-opens for 9.00 a.m.

- Friday 9th - Close for Half Term

- Monday 19th - Re-open at 9.00 a.m.

Boarders may return on Sunday 18th from 6.30 p.m.

 

March 2023

- Monday 18th - Bank Holiday - School Closed

- Tuesday 19th - Re-open at 9.00 a.m.

- Friday 22nd - Close at 4.00 p.m. for Easter Holidays

 

Summer Term 2024

April 2024

- Monday 8th - Re-open at 9.00 a.m.

Boarders may return Sunday 7th from 6.30 p.m.

 

May 2024

- Monday 6th - Bank Holiday - School Closed

- Tuesday 7th  - School Closure

- Friday 31st - Close for the Summer Holidays at 1 p.m.

 

June 2024

- Wednesday 5th - State Examinations commence

 

Transition Year Work Experiences

- Boarders are encouraged to travel home to complete.

Work Experience Block 2 – Tuesday 19th to Friday 22nd March 2024

Work Experience Block 3 - Monday 27th to Friday 31st May 2024
