Here at Bandon Grammar School we want to make our admissions process as smooth as possible for our prospective families. Mrs. Pamela Forde, our admissions officer is always ready to answer questions or organise an in person visit to BGS or a meeting with the Principal.
Bandon Grammar School is a co-educational school which offers day places, 5 day boarding and 7 day boarding places. We also have two special classes for students with ASD.

The Bandon Grammar School Admissions Policy is available here. In line with the Education (Admissions to Schools) Act 2018, the admissions policy details the criteria on which decisions about admission will be made.
In line with current legislation an Annual Admission Notice is published on the school website each September with details of the application process for the following academic year. This contains details of application and decision dates, number of places available / applications received and the number of places offered.
