Autumn Term 2026

• (Summer: Tuesday 23rd June 2026: PAC Uniform Sale for parents in McCutcheon Hall 10am-3pm)

• All Form 1 Students School Start: Friday 28th August 2026:  10am – 4pm. 

  PAC Uniform Sale for parents in McCutcheon Hall 10am-3pm 

• Form 1 boarders’ Induction: From 6.30pm Sunday 30th August 2026

  (Supper will be provided at 8pm)  Please note – Boarding houses will not open until Sunday 30th at 6:30pm.  

   

• Form 1 Students (Day 2): Monday 31st August 2026: 10am - 4pm
  Boarding opens for all Form 2, 3, 5 & 6 boarding students from 2.30pm

• Form 1 Students / Return to school for Forms 2, 3, 5 & 6: Tuesday 1st September 2026: 9am - 4pm
  Boarding open for Form 4 from 6.30pm

• Form 4 (TY) return to school / Classes as per timetable for Forms 1, 2, 3, 5 & 6: Wednesday 2nd September 2026: 9am - 4pm

• Planned School Closure: Friday 25th September 2026

• School Open Day: Saturday 3rd October 2026

• Midterm Closure: Friday 23rd October 2026
  (Bus to Dublin airport departs at 6am)

• Boarding School Opens: Sunday 1st November 2026
  Bus collects overseas students from Dublin airport at 6pm

• School Resumes: Monday 2nd November 2026
  Classes begin at 9am

• School Closure – Teacher Training Day: Monday 16th November 2026
  The boarding house will remain open for all 7 day boarding students

• Christmas Holidays: Wednesday 23rd December 2026

Spring Term 2027

  Bus collects overseas students from Dublin airport at 6pm

• School Resumes: Wednesday 6th January 2027
  Classes begin at 9am

• St Brigid’s Day: Monday 1st February 2027
  School is closed. The boarding house will remain open for all 7 day boarding students

• Mid-term Closure: Friday 12th February 2027
  (Bus departs for Dublin airport at 6am)

• Boarding School Opens: Sunday 21st February 2027
  Bus collects overseas students from Dublin airport at 6pm

• School Resumes: Monday 22nd February 2027
  Classes begin at 9am

• St Patrick’s Day Closure: Wednesday 17th March 2027
  School is closed
  The boarding house will remain open for all 7 day boarding students

• Easter Holidays: Friday 19th March 2027
  (Bus departs for Dublin airport at 6am)
  Please note that students in Form 6 may have oral or practical Leaving Certificate examinations during the first week of the Easter holidays. The boarding house will remain open for Form 6, 5 & 7 day boarding students

Summer Term 2027

• School Resumes: Monday 5th April 2027
  Classes begin at 9am

• May Bank Holiday: Monday 3rd May 2027
  School is closed
  The boarding house will remain open for all 7 day boarding students

• Summer Holidays: Friday 4th June 2027
  School closes for the summer holidays
  (Bus departs for Dublin airport at 6am)
  Please note that students in Forms 3 & 6 will commence State Examinations on Wednesday 9th June 2027
  Boarding houses will remain open according to student needs until the end of this exam period for Form 3 & 6 students
