Transition Year

The Transition Year Programme is a compulsory 4th year of education at Bandon Grammar School. It is a distinct one-year programme designed to give students a bridge from junior to senior cycle. It aims to give students an opportunity to broaden their skill set, embrace a range of challenges and opportunities and sample subjects offered in senior cycle which they may not have experienced before along with building a sense of responsibility for their own learning and decision making.
