Certified Irish Angus Schools Competition

Congratulations to our Transition Year students Aoife & Tzita Kingston who have qualified for finals of the Certified Irish Angus Schools Competition being held in Croke Park on the 01st March. As a school situated on a working farm with a strong community of pupils, past and present, from farming backgrounds, we are extremely proud of this achievement. 

This exciting competition is run with ABP and Kepak, challenges students to rear five Irish Angus calves over 18 months while completing a research project. The initiative aims to promote the Certified Irish Angus brand while educating students about the care and attention required to produce quality beef for consumers.
