Development Plan 2025 - 2035

Our Strategic Development Plan aims to improve every aspect of the Bandon Grammar School experience for all our people – Students, their Families and Staff.

For our students we will continue to set ambitious goals for academic standards and broaden the subjects taught based on their identified needs. Where those lessons take place will be improved to meet every applicable standard. Students’ non-academic growth will continue to be encouraged through improved sports, arts and wellness facilities. We will make sure our boarding students’ experience is excellent by maintaining third party accreditation for it. Our links to our students’ families and past pupils will be strengthened.

Our teaching staff will be supported through the paid provision of further training and learning opportunities. We are going to improve our rostering and scheduling so that our teachers are comfortable handing realistic workloads. Our non-academic staff will also be supported with continuous professional development.

Similarly, school leaders will receive support so they too have manageable workloads so that they can concentrate on our school being the best it can be.

Under the Finance heading you can see how we plan to fund all of this (without impacting fees) and the Methodology section explains how it was developed.
